Qualifications

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent preferred.
• CDL with P endorsement in good standing (3 or fewer points).
• Valid DOT Medical Card.
• Successful completion of U.S. and Michigan Department of Transportation Background Screening & Hiring Processes.
• Manual dexterity and eye-hand-foot coordination necessary to drive a bus.
• Near and far visual acuity and depth and spatial perception.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a passenger bus to transport employees and guests across Henry Ford Hospital System facilities and parking lots.
• Maintain a customer-friendly demeanor and etiquette while interacting with passengers.
• Ensure compliance with all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and safety protocols.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the bus to ensure it is in safe operating condition.
• Adhere to scheduled routes and timelines, adapting to changes as necessary.
