  • Maintains satisfactory driving technique.

Responsibilities

Shuttle Bus Operations
  • Safely drives a shuttle van to transport employees, patients and visitors from designated parking areas to and from the hospital campus.
  • Performs inspections and ensures proper care of vehicles and equipment. Notifies supervisor of anticipated repair needs as appropriate.
  • Records accurate number of riders and trips throughout shift.
  • Uses a mobile phone to appropriately communicate with hospital employees and riders.
  • Assists riders in entering and exiting shuttle vehicle.
  • Provides courteous service and communicates effectively by providing hospital information and directions as requested.

Provides support to the Guest Services department outside of shuttle transfers.

  • CPR/First Aid Certification (or ability to obtain)
Education

High School Diploma or equivalent required.
