Job summary

Seattle Children’s is seeking a shuttle driver responsible for transporting staff, patients, families, and professional associates to hospital and off-site locations in safe, courteous, and timely fashion.

The role requires a valid Class C CDL with a Passenger Endorsement, a current MVR review, and a DOT medical card. A high school diploma or equivalent is expected, with prior customer service experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• Must pass a road test in a shuttle vehicle.
• Customer service experience.
• Must have a current acceptable MVR reviewed by Seattle Children’s Risk Management office prior to start of employment.
• Employment is contingent upon obtaining a Class C Commercial Driver’s License with a Passenger Endorsement within 3 months of start date or transfer.

Responsibilities

• Transport staff and clients to the hospital and between various off-site work locations and parking lots in a prompt, friendly, and safe manner.
• Document passenger's usage of shuttle services via on-board card reader or manually.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Demonstrate professional driving skills at all times.
