Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking an onsite Low Voltage Security Technician to install, maintain and troubleshoot access control, CCTV, intercoms, alarm systems, and related equipment at 600 Main Street. High School Diploma or equivalent required; Electronics experience 1–2 years; low voltage 0–1 year preferred.

Collaborate with the security and facilities teams to coordinate installations, perform routine maintenance, document configurations, and ensure compliance with applicable codes.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Electronics Experience 1-2 years required and Low Voltage Systems Experience 0-1 year preferred

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of low voltage security systems and equipment including access control, CCTV, intercoms, alarm systems, and other security-related technologies.
• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs of existing security systems to ensure their optimal functioning.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with low voltage security systems, utilizing technical knowledge and diagnostic tools to pinpoint problems and implement effective solutions.
• Assist in upgrading and expanding existing security systems to meet the hospital's evolving security requirements.
• Ensure that security systems comply with relevant regulations, codes, and industry standards.
• Maintain accurate records of installations, maintenance activities, repairs, and system configurations.
• Work closely with the hospital's security team, facility managers, and other relevant stakeholders to coordinate installation and maintenance schedules, address security concerns, and provide technical support as needed.
