Job summary

HSS is seeking an on-site Healthcare Security Officer to oversee daily security operations in a hospital setting, supervise assigned personnel, and ensure safety for staff, patients, and visitors.

Role requires high school diploma or GED, background check, ability to lift up to 80 lbs, and a valid driver's license where applicable. Competitive hourly compensation is provided along with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Pre-employment background check and drug screen are required.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain any applicable licenses or certifications.
• Strong vision abilities including color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
• Must be able to stand and/or walk for an entire work shift, move or lift objects up to 80 lbs., help restrain or lift a person.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet driving guidelines if applicable (for Driving Roles).

Responsibilities

• Maintain the security and safety of the hospital, its staff, and its patients and visitors; serve as a visible deterrent to illicit activities on hospital property.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
