Job summary

Prime Healthcare Saint Francis Hospital in Evanston, IL, is seeking a Security Officer for the Evening shift (Full Time, 2:30p–11p with rotating weekends). You will implement security services, monitor electronic surveillance, and conduct rounds to protect patients, staff, and visitors.

You will work with the Environment of Care committee to foster a safe environment. Requirements: High School Diploma or Equivalent; State Guard Certification; valid state driver’s license with driving history;

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• One year experience in a lead security position preferred.
• State Guard Certification/Card required.
• State Driver’s license upon hire; driving history report required.

Responsibilities

• Implements Security services, including electronic surveillance, and rounds.
• Coordinates facility response to problems for patients, employees, and visitors.
• Enforces policy & procedure, ensuring equitable enforcement.
• Establishes guidelines and perpetual monitoring techniques for a safe workplace.
• Works with the Environment of Care committee for a multi-disciplinary approach to security and safety.
• Participates in employee awareness and education.
• Driving as needed for company business.
