Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in security or related fields preferred, especially in healthcare.
• IAHSS Basic Officer Certification preferred or must be completed within 1 year of hire.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record required.
• Microsoft Office computer skills and ability to perform incident investigations and report writing.

Responsibilities

• Patrol hospital property to ensure safety of patients, visitors and staff.
• Control individuals exhibiting aggressive or violent behavior.
• Investigate security incidents and document findings in incident reports.
• Maintain daily activity logs and reports.
• Lock/unlock hospital buildings and participate in fire/disaster response teams.
• Enforce hospital parking policy and demonstrate professional conduct.
• Respond to security alerts and emergencies with adherence to policy and safety procedures.
