St. Luke's University Health Network is seeking a security professional to patrol hospital property, de-escalate when needed, and document incidents. You will enforce policies, assist in fire/disaster responses, and maintain daily reports.

Individual must be able to meet established specific physical requirements of the job; sitting for up to eight (8) hours/day, four (4) hours at a time; standing for up to eight (8) hours/day, four (4) hours at a time, and walking for up to eight (8) hours/day, four (4) hours at a time. Frequent handing and firm gripping in moving equipment, rarely fingering and twisting/turning. Occasional lifting, carrying, pushing and walking of objects weighing in excess of 200 pounds with assistance if needed. Occasional stooping/bending, crouching, and reaching above shoulder level. Hearing as it relates to normal conversation. Seeing as it relates to general vision and color vision, and depth perception.
High School Diploma or equivalent certificate (G.E.D.) required.
Experience in security or other related fields, including general healthcare experience, and/or customer service preferred. International Associated for Healthcare Security & Safety (IAHSS): Current Basic Officer Certification preferred or completion within 1 year from date of hire required. Basic Certificate must be maintained. Must maintain a valid driver's license accepted by the Network insurance carrier, and a good driving record. Must possess Microsoft Office computer skills and demonstrate incident investigation and report writing ability.
Prior security or healthcare experience and customer service skills preferred. PA ACT 235, active NJ SORA, or other state equivalent, preferred. Completion of a law enforcement or corrections academy or associate degree in a related field, preferred.
