Job summary

Northbrook Behavioral Health Hospital is seeking a Security Officer with hospital experience to ensure the safety of patients, staff and visitors at our facility in New Jersey.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum 2 years of security or law enforcement experience.
• Hospital experience is strongly preferred.
• Ability to pass background check and obtain required certifications.

Responsibilities

• Patrol hospital premises to deter and detect unauthorized activity
• Monitor and respond to emergency situations, including alarms and distress calls
• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff
• Develop and maintain a working knowledge of hospital policies and procedures
• Communicate effectively with hospital staff, management, and law enforcement
• Maintain accurate records and reports of incidents and security-related activities
