Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking an Evening shift Security Officer to ensure the safety of patients, team members, visitors and property. The role requires vigilance, incident reporting, and professional interaction in a hospital setting.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, 2 years of college credits, and a valid driver's license. Excellent communication and basic computing skills are essential, with prior security or law enforcement experience preferred.

Qualificações

• High School diploma or GED required; GED equivalent acceptable.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
• 2 years of college credits preferred; related coursework a plus.
• Possession of a valid driver's license; background checks required.

Responsabilidades

• Patrol the Medical Center to observe and correct security issues.
• Respond to security calls and codes quickly and effectively.
• Control access to facilities and assist patients and visitors as needed.
• Inspect packages and report security incidents with documentation.
• Complete daily activity logs and incident reports before shift end.
• Coordinate with Security Leaders and participate in training.
• Provide escorts and maintain safety across parking areas.
