Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital in Onancock, VA seeks a Protection Officer to work in the Labor Pool (as needed). You will monitor alarms, escort staff and visitors, manage access, and maintain safety across the campus. Some duties involve patient transport assistance and report writing.

Required certifications include CPI within 90 days, Control Tactics within 1 year, and CPR/BLS within 90 days (AED if CPR not BLS). Prior healthcare security experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required (preferred).
• Prior security experience in healthcare is preferred.
• Complete CPI training within 90 days of hire.
• Complete Control Tactics training within 1 year (Required).
• CPR/BLS certification within 90 days (Required); AED certification within 90 days if CPR not BLS.

Responsabilités

• Monitor fire, intrusion, duress, and security alarms and respond as needed.
• Escort employees, visitors, and patients; assist with transportation and lifting as requested.
• Manage visitor and employee badging and credentialing; maintain logs and reports.
• Maintain equipment and drive vehicle safety checks; complete reports in Omnigo/rCare.
• Prepare written incident reports and convey details for safety monitoring.
