Riverside Health is seeking a Protection Officer I in Onancock, VA to safeguard facilities and personnel. The role supports the Protection Supervisor & Manager by monitoring alarms, conducting patrols, and ensuring safety for employees, patients, and visitors within a health system campus.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED (preferred) and prior security experience in health care settings. Training in CPI, Control Tactics, and CPR/BLS is required within designated timeframes.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor fire, intrusion, duress, and security alarm systems and respond as appropriate.
• Escort employees, visitors, and patients as requested; assist with transportation and parking guidance.
• Patrol interior and exterior areas to prevent and detect criminal activity; write incident reports.
• Maintain logs and input service requests in WorxHub and Omnigo; keep SOPs current.
• Prepare written incident reports with details for quality monitoring and pass downs.
