Responsibilities

• Patrols and monitors building, premises, and parking lots to detect criminal violations or hazards.
• Detects and reports unusual conditions impacting safety; responds to disasters and safety issues.
• Raises/lowers flags at front entrance daily; guides visitors and patients; maintains traffic control.
• Detains personnel for investigation when necessary and reports to Security Operations Center.
• Detains and assists law enforcement with active investigations to protect Kaiser Permanente property, staff, patients and visitors.
• Makes recommendations to supervisor on changes in policies, procedures and budgetary needs.
