Job summary

Tarian is seeking a Security Officer to support safety and security operations at our hospital client site. You will patrol, monitor, control access, and assist customers while adapting to site-specific requirements and client expectations.

Compensation is $18.82/hr. Responsibilities include maintaining security for staff, patients, and visitors; deterring illegal activity; supervising at‑risk individuals; and performing related duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Completed High School Diploma or GED.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain any applicable licenses or certifications.
• Strong vision abilities including color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
• Must be able to stand and/or walk for an entire work shift, move or lift objects up to 80 lbs., help restrain or lift a person.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet Tariandriving guidelines if applicable (for Driving Roles).

Responsibilities

• Maintaining the security and safety of the hospital, its staff, and its patients and visitors.
• Serving as a visible deterrent to illegal activities on hospital property.
• Providing supervision for at‑risk patients in the hospital environment.
• Performing other job‑related duties as assigned.
