Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring an unarmed Security Professional for a hospital environment in Corpus Christi, TX. The role involves patrolling the hospital grounds, monitoring CCTV and access control, and reporting incidents. TB tests and vaccinations may be required; drug screening is also possible due to safety concerns.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current driver's license if driving a company- or customer-owned vehicle.
• Minimum of two years' verifiable employment history in customer service or protective services.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to operate radio/console monitors.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of hospital grounds on foot or in vehicle.
• Assist hospital staff with de-escalation and restraining when necessary.
• Transport patients to the morgue as needed.
• Escort patients from helicopter pad to the emergency room.
• Assist with evacuations during fires and medical emergencies.
• Sound alarms or contact police or fire department when needed.
• Monitor entrances/exits and prevent contraband entry.
• Prepare and maintain incident reports and logs.
