Allied Universal is hiring an Unarmed Security Professional for a hospital setting in Highlands, NC. The role involves foot and/or vehicle patrols, monitoring CCTV, controlling access, and deterring security threats. You will document observations, assist in de-escalation, and respond to emergencies, with TB tests and vaccinations possibly required.

Pay rate is $17.78 per hour. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, retirement plans, and paid holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current driver’s license if driving a company- or customer-owned vehicle.
• Licensing requirements subject to state/local laws and may be required prior to employment.
• Minimum of two years of verifiable employment history in customer service or protective services.
• Must be 18+ years old (or as required by state).
• Ability to operate radio/console monitors and communicate effectively.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to assess situations quickly.

Responsabilités

• Perform security patrols of hospital grounds on foot or by vehicle and document observations.
• Assist hospital staff with de-escalation of situations involving patients and restrain as necessary.
• Transport patients to the morgue as needed.
• Escort patients from helicopter pad to emergency room.
• Assist with evacuations during fires, medical emergencies, and disasters.
• Sound alarms or call authorities in case of fire or unauthorized access.
• Monitor entrances and exits; verify authorized entry and prevent contraband.
• Investigate incidents and prepare written reports; maintain logs.
