Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer for Full Time Hospital Emergency Patrol in Cleveland, OH. You will conduct unarmed patrols, maintain visibility, and provide excellent customer service to patients, visitors, and staff while following hospital procedures.

Responsibilities include responding to incidents, reporting observations, and guiding visitors with professionalism. Required are a high school diploma and ability to undergo background checks and vaccinations.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be willing to receive required hospital vaccinations.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and communicating with appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hospital buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions or security-related concerns.
• Assist with directing visitors, providing wayfinding information, and maintaining a professional presence in clinical and public-facing areas.
• Document incidents, observations, and daily activities accurately and promptly in accordance with site procedures.
