Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED required with Georgia P.O.S.T. certification.
• Minimum two years of supervisory custodial or security experience in a criminal justice or correctional system; higher-level experience preferred.

Aufgaben

• Supervise Security Supervisors, Officers, Dispatchers and assigned staff.
• Plan, assign, direct, and evaluate work of the security team.
• Ensure 24-hour security operations and adequate shift coverage.
• Develop work schedules and coordinate staffing during leave or emergencies.
• Provide supervisory coverage when needed due to staffing shortages.
• Coordinate daily operations with the Police Lieutenant and implement directives.
• Respond to emergencies, alarms, and critical incidents.
• Inspect personnel, facilities, equipment, and security systems.
• Complete evaluations, investigations, and administrative reports.
• Recommend training, equipment purchases, and operational improvements.
• Maintain compliance with DBHDD policies and directives.
