Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Associate or Bachelor in Criminal Justice or Law Enforcement, or equivalent experience.
• TPR certification within 12 months of employment.
• NVCI certification within 12 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide security at Health System facilities through foot and vehicular patrols.
• Explain policies and procedures to staff and demonstrate equipment usage.
• Use access programs to issue photo IDs, monitor doors and alarms, and run reports.
• Coordinate with leadership to execute disaster and emergency protocols.
• Assist outside agencies according to policies to ensure safe outcomes.
• Escort deceased persons and valuables and ensure proper documentation.
• Conduct escorts for patients, visitors, employees, and money as needed.
• Assist injured or ill individuals and respond to emergencies per policies.
• Document incidents accurately using the incident reporting system.
• Maintain safety and infection control with PPE and participate in committees.
