Responsibilities

• Staffs assigned post to protect patients, staff and visitors.
• Responds to emergencies and requests for service.
• Controls access by screening visitors and verifying IDs.
• Directs vehicle traffic and clears ambulance access points.
• Assists and directs visitors and detains unauthorized individuals.
• Conducts escorts within the Medical Center as needed.
• Safely transports Medical Center funds and valuables to the Cashier.
• Submits timely and complete security reports.
• Performs related security, office or record-keeping tasks as directed.
