Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Hospital Security Officer in Hixson, Tennessee. You will protect patients, staff and visitors, monitor hospital premises, and respond to incidents with calm urgency and professional service.

Requirements include a high school diploma or 5 years of verifiable experience; valid driver's license for driving positions; and successful completion of a background check and drug screening.

• Valid driver’s license for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Observe and remain vigilant for signs of crime, disorder, hazard, and unusual activity.
• Patrol on foot, bicycle, or vehicle to check for unsafe conditions, security violations, or unauthorized individuals.
• Orally and physically de-escalating individuals, as needed.
• Inspect all security devices and fire control equipment.
• Screen members, visitors, and staff to expedite admission to the facility.
• Respond to incidents of fire, medical emergency, or other emergencies with calm urgency.
• May include patient escort or safety escort as part of duties.
