Qualifications

• Must be experienced in use of firearms and self-defense.
• Patrol areas of hospital, clinics, and grounds.
• Intervene and subdue individuals during episodes of violence or irrational behavior.
• May monitor visitor flow at security desk or watch security monitor system; report unusual activities.
• May pick up lab specimens and deliver mail/supplies.

Responsibilities

• Patrol assigned hospital areas to deter theft or damage.
• Intervene to protect staff, patients and visitors during incidents.
• Monitor surveillance or security desk and report anomalies.
• Coordinate with hospital staff during security events.
