Allied Universal is seeking a Hospital Security Officer in Summerville, SC to monitor a high-profile healthcare campus and safeguard staff, visitors, and patients. You will observe for signs of trouble, perform patrols, de-escalate conflicts, and report incidents with professionalism.

The role offers full-time employment with extensive benefits, weekly or instant pay options, and state training for security licensing.

Qualifications

• Experience dealing with customers in stressful situations.
• Be at least 21 years old.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required.
• Valid driver’s license for driving positions only.
• After offer, training and certification (Management of Aggressive Behavior) may be required.

Responsibilities

• Observe and remain vigilant for signs of crime, disorder, hazard, and unusual activity.
• Patrol on foot, bicycle, or via a vehicle to check for unsafe conditions, security violations, and authorized individuals.
• De-escalate individuals when needed.
• Inspect security devices and fire control equipment.
• Screen members, visitors, and staff to expedite admittance to the facility.
• Respond to incidents of fire, medical emergencies, bomb threats, or other hazards with calm urgency.
• May escort patients or transport deceased to morgue.
