Job summary

Allied Universal® in Asheville, NC is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Hospital Protection to protect patients, visitors, and staff across healthcare settings. You will monitor and patrol hospital areas, enforce policies, and respond to security incidents while delivering compassionate service.

This role requires at least 6 months security experience, the ability to work in a hospital morgue, and a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be willing to receive required hospital vaccines.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Able to work in a hospital morgue and restrain individuals.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• A valid driver’s license may be required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations calmly and professionally.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility including entrances and parking areas.
• Assist with visitor access procedures and wayfinding while maintaining a professional presence.
• Document incidents and daily activities accurately and communicate with site leadership.
