Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Hospital Security Officer for Jefferson Hospital in Clairton, PA. This part-time position offers $17.00 per hour and Fri-Sun 3:00PM-11:00PM shifts, with training provided and uniforms supplied.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Valid driver’s license for driving positions only.
• Vaccinations including TB, MMR, Varicella, Tetanus required before start.

Responsibilities

• Observe and remain vigilant for signs of crime, disorder, hazard, and unusual activity.
• Patrol on foot, bicycle, or via a vehicle to check for unsafe conditions and security violations.
• De-escalate individuals verbally and physically when needed.
• Inspect security devices and fire control equipment.
• Screen members, visitors, and staff to admit them.
• Respond to incidents such as fire, medical emergencies, or threats.
