Job summary

Saint Francis Hospital Vinita, Inc. is seeking a Security Officer to patrol the Vinita campus, monitor surveillance, and enforce hospital security policies. You will help prevent unauthorized access and protect patients, staff, and visitors.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, a CLEET Armed Security Guard License, and at least 1 year of related security experience. This is an as-needed, not full-time position with variable hours.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of related security experience preferred.
• CLEET Armed Security Guard License required.
• Certified Peace Officers must obtain CLEET certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Actively patrols premises to monitor activity and control access to restricted areas.
• Responds to emergencies and deters theft or vandalism with a visible presence.
• Enforces hospital policies and coordinates with law enforcement when necessary.
• Documents security incidents and breaches and assists with evacuations and emergency procedures.
• Ensures adherence to site rules, safety procedures, and regulatory requirements.
