Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring Security Officers at Grove City Medical Center in Minnesota. This full-time role pays $17.00 per hour and offers 40-hour weeks with weekends included. Shifts include 7:00 AM-3:00 PM, 3:00 PM-11:00 PM, and 11:00 PM-7:00 AM.

You will patrol facilities, assist nursing staff as needed, de-escalate incidents, and ensure safety for staff, patients, and visitors. Training is provided, uniforms and equipment are supplied, and benefits are included.

Qualifications

Background investigation required by Allied Universal and applicable laws.
Drug screen required prior to employment.
Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent or 5 years verifiable experience.
Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.
Post offer, must complete training and obtain Management of Aggressive Behavior certification.

Responsibilities

Observe and remain vigilant for signs of crime, disorder, hazard, and unusual activity.
Patrol on foot, bicycle, or by vehicle to check for unsafe conditions and security violations.
De-escalate verbally or physically as needed to maintain safety.
Inspect security devices and fire control equipment.
Screen members, visitors, and staff to expedite admittance.
Respond to emergencies including fire, medical, bomb threats, or severe weather.
May escort patients, assist and/or transport the deceased to the morgue.
