Responsibilities

• Notifies local police when backup is necessary.
• Inspects building, equipment and access points.
• Verifies identity and controls entry for allowed personnel.
• Resolves conflicts with verbal intervention; may use physical intervention for disruptive individuals.
• Directs traffic and monitors surveillance cameras for disruptions or unlawful acts.
• Submits clear, readable incident reports and safeguards university assets.
• Operates University vehicles per policy and maintains security of exits and entrances.
