Montefiore Nyack Hospital is seeking a full-time Security Officer in Nyack, NY. The role involves patrolling the premises, monitoring surveillance, inspecting buildings and access points, and coordinating with other departments to prevent losses and respond to incidents.

Shift is day, MON-FRI with alternating weekends/holidays; scheduled hours are 7:30 AM–4 PM. Requires 1–3 years hospital security experience and a high school diploma; CPR/First Aid and NYS Driver's License are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Required.
• 1-3 years Experience in a hospital setting as a Security guard.
• Previous experience in law enforcement, Firefighter or Security Officer in a Health Care Facility preferred.
• CPR and First Aid Preferred
• NYS Drivers' License Preferred

Responsabilités

• Reports to Security Manager for overall job performance and collaborates with hospital staff and Security department.
• Assigned to fixed posts and hospital patrol; covers vacancies or emergencies as needed.
• Courteous, pleasant, and helpful to the public and Hospital staff; may perform non-security tasks.
• Conducts training exercises for fire drills and codes (silver, pink, gray).
• Ensures compliance with hospital and security policies and procedures.
