Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Abides by and enforces all compliance requirements and policies and performs these responsibilities in an ethical manner.
• Communicates and uses appropriate customer relation skills with physicians, patients and families.
• Responds to overhead pages; completes and maintains accurate records as required.
• Investigates and prepares legible written reports of incidents and accidents.
• Reports must be concise and within the standards of the University, Hospital and Security Department.
• Inspects doors and lights as required.
• Responds quickly to fires and other emergency situations.
• Requires minimal supervision, performs preventative patrols of the hospital and grounds, assists the Police Department as required on the property, completes all required training for Department and hospital requirements, accepts and completes all duties positively and without conflict.
