Job summary

Virtua Health is seeking a full-time security officer for the 3rd shift to safeguard facilities, people and assets. You will patrol, monitor alarms and cameras, and assist visitors while upholding Virtua policy. Weapon screening at entrances and incident reporting are involved.

The role requires a HS diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license, and SORA certification is preferred. Competitive hourly pay and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• 2 years security experience preferred.
• Proficient written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Safeguard, patrol, and monitor buildings, grounds, and property.
• Assist visitors, patients, vendors, and staff with customer service.
• Conduct weapon screening at public entrances with approved technology.
• Provide directions and respond to emergencies; escalate to law enforcement as needed.
• Monitor alarms and security cameras; maintain shift logs.
