Securitas US Business Unit in Grand Forks, ND is seeking a Hospital Security Officer to help maintain a safe environment at our client site. This full-time role involves access control, patrols, and enforcing site regulations to protect personnel and visitors.

The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills, the ability to stay calm in stressful situations, and reliable teamwork. Training is provided and uniforms are supplied, with competitive hourly wages and benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and remain calm under pressure.
• Prior security, law enforcement, or military experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues or hazardous conditions.
• Ensure post orders are followed and rounds completed.
• Provide customer service and information to employees and guests.
• Utilize technology devices during shift.
• Conduct tours of the property.
• Carry out tasks of similar nature as required for the site.

Hospital Security Officer - Full Time

Primary Location: Grand Forks, ND

Wage: $19.50/HR

Our HospitalSecurity Officers help maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including access control and patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order whileenforcing regulations and directives for our client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.

What You Can Expect:

Basic Requirements:

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must have a professional demeanor.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
• Driver Certification.
• Prior security, law enforcement, or military police experience preferred.
