Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Full Time Security Guard for Hospital Clinical Protection in Hudson, FL to safeguard patients, visitors, and staff with courteous, professional security support in a healthcare setting. Responsibilities include patrolling, monitoring entrances, responding to incidents, and preparing incident reports.

You will detain if needed and coordinate with hospital staff to ensure safety and a welcoming environment for patients and visitors.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• Meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Willing to work in a hospital morgue.
• Able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
• At least two years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation as per laws.
• Background histories considered per applicable laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, including supporting facility protocols for medical emergencies.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned healthcare areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal supervision.
• Complete accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation in accordance with site procedures.
