Job summary

Frederick Health is seeking a full-time Security Officer to protect patients, staff and visitors. The role involves patrolling hospital areas, monitoring alarms and cameras, and providing escorts as required.

Incumbents will respond to emergencies, apply restraints when needed, and maintain confidentiality while ensuring safety and security across campus. A valid MD driver’s license and clean record are required.

Responsibilities

• Provides protection to people and property through patrol, investigation, monitoring alarms and surveillance cameras.
• Provides escorts for staff, visitors and patients as requested.
• Apprehends violators when necessary and appropriate.
• Provides emergency response to a variety of situations.
• Applies patient restraints as needed.
• Patrols assigned areas and identifies unsafe conditions to prevent theft or injury.
