Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate's degree preferred.
• 1-2 years related security or law enforcement experience required.
• 1-2 years MedStar service in lieu of security experience.
• MD Special Police Commission or DC SPO preferred; ongoing training required.

Responsibilities

• Contributes to department goals and adheres to policies and safety standards.
• Responds immediately to emergencies to assist staff and customers.
• Conducts security patrols of the facility as directed, including campuses/grounds.
• Monitors lobbies, waiting areas, elevators and entrances for safety and security.
• Prepares reports and logs of incidents, investigations and activities.
