Job summary

CHI St Vincent, part of CommonSpirit Health, seeks an Environmental Services Technician to keep patient rooms and hospital areas clean and sanitized to protect patients, staff, and visitors.

You will perform routine cleaning, handle biohazard waste disposal, restock supplies, and learn proper disinfection techniques. A friendly, patient-focused approach helps ensure safety and comfort throughout the facility in Arkansas.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate General Studies and Previous healthcare experience., upon hire
• High School GED General Studies and Previous healthcare experience., upon hire

Responsibilities

• Provide routine cleaning and decluttering to appropriate areas of the hospital - dusting, sweeping, mopping, and disposing of trash.
• Sanitize appropriate areas of the hospital using approved tools and routines; clean and disinfect surfaces thoroughly.
• Restock supplies in supply areas, common areas, and patient rooms (soap, towels, tissues, linens, and cleaning supplies).
• Learn and follow proper techniques for disposal of all medical waste, including biohazard waste.
• Remain patient, kind and personable in all interactions with patients, visitors and staff.
