Job summary

Qualifications

• Detect, correct, report and manage safety and security hazards on hospital campuses and SJCHS properties.
• Perform inspections, drills and first responder duties.
• Respond to emergencies, disturbances and criminal activity.
• Must obtain IAHSS certification within 90 days of employment.
• Comply with Security department operation guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Patrol hospital campuses to protect patients, staff and property.
• Enforce parking policies and assist with access control.
• Respond to incidents and coordinate with emergency services.
• Escort visitors and provide campus transportation directions.
• Complete training in non-violent crisis intervention and EOC procedures.
