Job summary

Providence St. Joseph Medical Center seeks a Safety & Security Officer to patrol campus and adjacent areas, ensuring safety for patients, visitors and staff.

The role acts as a primary safety resource around the clock and oversees security and hazardous material decontamination as needed. The position requires a Montana security license within 60 days, BLS certification at hire, and completion of IAHSs and Aggressive Behavior training within designated timelines.

Qualifications

• Within 60 days of hire: Montana PSP Security Guard License.
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
• Within 1 year of hire IA HSS Basic Security Officer Certified.
• Within 6 months of hire Aggressive Behavior Certification.
• Prior typing/keyboard experience for data entry.

Responsibilities

• Patrol SJMC property and adjoining areas, ensuring safety and security.
• Serve as a key resource for staff 24/7, addressing safety concerns.
• Oversee safety, security and hazardous material decontamination as needed.
