Job summary

Vizient is seeking a Materials Management professional to oversee daily receiving and shipping activities at hospital and off-site locations. You will coordinate stock levels, returns, and vendor credits while partnering with clinical departments and finance to ensure reliable, compliant service.

Qualifications

• Relevant degree preferred.
• 2 or more years of relevant experience in inventory management required.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite products is required.
• Leadership experience preferred.
• Experience in use of Materials Management Information Systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the receiving and distribution functions and ensure data accuracy in the materials management system.
• Monitor delivery schedules to ensure timely item receipt from vendors, including remote receiving for capital purchases.
• Survey inventory for accurate stock rotation, expirations, and compliance with standards.
• Perform periodic inventory of all stock supplies in specified areas.
• Coordinate annual physical inventory with leadership on a predetermined schedule.
• Manage bar coding system for inventory and generate reports for management.
