Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record; EVO license within 12 months.
• Must maintain weapon certifications per Delaware standards.
• CPR and AED certification within 6 months.
• Two years in law enforcement, security, or public service; hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as frontline Public Safety Officer to protect staff, patients, visitors and property.
• Work armed capacity; report to Public Safety Supervisor on duty.
• Provide crisis management and safety services, and assist during exigent situations.
