Responsibilities

• Performs plumbing assignments for facility.
• Installs, repairs and maintains plumbing system in hospital and related properties.
• Reads blueprints and diagrams to install plumbing systems and fixtures.
• Operates and maintains plumbing equipment.
• Performs tests to ensure installations comply with safety regulations and codes.
• Maintains PM program on plumbing system in hospital.
• Takes lead role in emergency repairs and work crews.
• Operates and maintains generators and A/C chillers; tests and maintains.
• Maintains a safe environment and addresses patient population needs.
• Participates in Performance Improvement activities.
