Job summary

Strategic Resilience Group in Dallas is seeking an experienced Journeyman Pipefitter to install, maintain, and repair plumbing, steam, gas, and medical facility systems in a hospital setting. You will read blueprints, follow codes, and work with VA personnel.

This role requires a Texas license, at least 4 years of journeyman experience, OSHA certifications, and the ability to perform heavy physical work indoors and outdoors in basements, kitchens, and mechanical rooms while documenting work and

Qualifications

• Active Texas state plumbers/pipefitters license.
• Minimum 4 years of trade experience as a journeyman-level pipefitter.
• Current OSHA certifications applicable to pipefitting, hot-work, hazardous environments, and safe work practices.
• Ability to read blueprints and follow standard codes and safety practices.
• Experience maintaining and repairing plumbing, steam, gas, and medical facility systems.
• Ability to perform heavy physical work safely in a hospital facility environment.
• Ability to work indoors/outdoors, including basements, kitchens, and manholes.
• VA-required privacy, information security, and rules-of-behavior training.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair a wide range of plumbing, steam, gas, and medical facility systems in a hospital setting.
• Perform pipefitting trade methods and techniques.
• Work independently with minimal oversight and supervise helpers when needed.
• Read and interpret blueprints and follow codes and safety practices.
• Coordinate daily work assignments with VA personnel and report progress to the COR.
• Complete daily service logs, timecards, and work documentation.
• Work indoors and outdoors in hospital facility environments.
• Other duties as assigned
