Job summary

Mount Sinai Hospital is seeking a skilled Plumber to install, service and repair plumbing and related fixtures across the medical center. You will perform pipe-fitting tasks, tests, and routine maintenance to keep systems in good working order.

The role requires a high school or trade/vocational plumbing diploma and a minimum of five years of experience. Duties include reading blueprints, tracing service lines, and installing valves, traps, and fixtures as needed.

Qualifications

• High School or trade/vocational diploma in plumbing or BIMC-recognized training.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in plumbing.

Responsibilities

• Lay out, assemble, alter, remove, install and repair pipes, fittings and fixture systems.
• Perform pipe fitting duties; cut holes in walls, threads, welds, brazes or solders piping systems.
• Install, change and repair valves, traps and fixtures; test and maintain systems.
• Trace and locate service lines; read blueprints and inspect systems regularly.
