Job summary

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a Plumber at Monmouth Medical Center. The role focuses on inspecting, installing and maintaining pipes, fixtures and related systems to ensure heating, water, gas and drainage operate safely and efficiently.

The position requires flexibility for occasional emergencies and off-hours repair. Responsibilities include preventative maintenance, reporting hazards, and supporting the Plant Operations team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Completion of Trade School.
• 1 - 3 years prior experience in industrial maintenance.
• Valid NJ Driver's License.
• Preferred: Certified Plumber's license.

Responsibilities

• Inspects, installs, repairs and replaces pipes, fittings and plumbing fixtures to maintain hospital systems.
• Repairs steam low pressure and condensation return pipes and installs pipe assemblies.
• Performs preventative maintenance on plumbing fixtures and related equipment in a safe, efficient manner.
• Assists in operation and maintenance of heating and air conditioning systems.
• Reports safety issues and conditions requiring attention to the Lead Plumber.
