Avita Ontario Hospital is seeking a General Maintenance Technician to join the Plant Operations Department. You will perform a variety of tasks to keep walks, parking lots, and grounds safe and well-maintained, and assist with renovations and projects to ensure facilities stay clean, functional, and orderly.

The role supports hospital operations, repairs equipment as needed, and provides assistance to staff, visitors, and patients.

Qualifications

• Current valid Ohio driver's license in good standing with insurance company and acceptable driving record.
• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Three (3) to six (6) months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsabilités

• Perform a variety of duties in and around the facility such as maintaining walks, parking lots and grounds to assist the Plant Operations Manager and Director in completing their tasks.
• Provide assistance with renovations, construction, and projects.
• Repairs, cleans and maintains equipment ensuring that it is in proper working condition and ensures facilities are tidy and functional.
• Provides assistance to employees, visitors and patients as necessary.
