Quest Diagnostics is hiring a Phlebotomist Representative I - Hospital in Bangor, ME. The role is hospital-based at Northern Lights Hospital, with a Monday–Wednesday schedule and weekend rotation.

The candidate draws blood samples and handles specimens in a fast-paced hospital setting, ensuring accuracy and patient trust. Ideal applicants have phlebotomy experience (pediatric/geriatric), strong data entry and customer service skills, and are willing to work flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Required phlebotomy skills including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Customer service and healthcare experience preferred.
• Keyboard/data entry experience required.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collection on patients of all ages.
• Accurately label and process specimens according to laboratory protocol.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of phlebotomy carts and work areas.
• Data entry and processing of specimens including labeling, centrifuging, and freezing as required.
• Assist with training new staff or students as needed.
• Rotate through inpatient, outpatient, physicians' offices, and ED settings as scheduled.
