Job summary

Northwell Health is seeking a phlebotomist to perform phlebotomy and associated clerical tasks in a fast-paced laboratory setting.

You will interact with patients of all ages, collect samples, verify patient information, label specimens, and maintain specimen integrity while adhering to safety and regulatory guidelines. This role supports the laboratory team across Hudson Valley and the New York metro area.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Six months of phlebotomy experience, preferably in a hospital setting.
• Previous computer experience is preferred. Strong interpersonal skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Performs Phlebotomy activities on patients of all ages with minimal supervision.
• Verifies patient information prior to specimen collection and labels samples accurately.
• Maintains specimen integrity and handles data entry and routing to the laboratory.
