Job summary

Vernon Health in Wisconsin is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join our hospital pharmacy team. You will work with pharmacists and technicians to provide excellent pharmaceutical care across hospital and clinics.

Four 10-hour shifts weekly, 6:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with rotating weekends and holidays. You will manage Omnicell inventories, assist with sterile/dosed medications, vaccines, and infusion preparations while ensuring accuracy and safety.

Qualifications

• Must have strong attention to detail and dependability.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Organizational and time-management skills; able to work independently and on a team.
• Basic computer proficiency and comfort with pharmacy systems.
• Fine motor skills for sterile compounding under USP guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Manage medication inventory in Omnicell cabinets.
• Support vaccine inventories and Vaccines for Children (VFC) program.
• Package and unit-dose medications.
• Prepare sterile and non-sterile compounded medications.
• Assist with monoclonal antibody and chemotherapy infusions preparation.
• Audit Omnicell storage systems and monitor storage temperatures.
• Support 340B program compliance activities.
• Maintain records and inventory controls; assist pharmacists in patient care.
