Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Indiana State Pharmacy Technician license or in-training.
• PTCB or NHA certification within 1 year of hire.
• Must be 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and enter physician orders into computer systems.
• Utilize pharmacy automation technology and some manual systems to distribute drugs.
• Safely prepare sterile IV preparations.
• Manage pharmacy billing / crediting and inventory control.
• Assist the Pharmacist and communicate effectively to resolve issues.

Education

Indiana State Pharmacy Technician license

Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB or NHA) within 1 year
