Job summary

Covenant HealthCare is seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacists in dispensing and preparing medications. You will maintain stock, ensure accuracy, and provide excellent customer service to patients of all ages in a fast-paced hospital setting. Proficiency with EPIC and sterile compounding per USP standards is expected.

This role requires Michigan licensure and certification, with opportunities to advance and participate in ongoing training and quality initiatives.

Qualifications

• Certified Pharmacy Technician with state licensure in Michigan.
• Hospital pharmacy technician experience preferred, including sterile compounding.
• Must be able to perform duties under pharmacist supervision and adhere to policies.

Responsibilities

• Assists pharmacist with dispensing, labeling, and final checks.
• Maintains stock levels and prepares sterile products per USP standards.
• fills unit dose carts and delivers to patient care units.
• Handles calls and supports pharmacy staff as needed.
• Performs inventory, temperature checks, and quality monitoring.
